       伦敦金融城市长最近率40人的金融及专业服务机构高级专家代表团访问上海。代表团的首要任务是吸引更多外资进入英国，强调英国在购并重组方面的专业实力，展示伦敦作为世界最大的国际资本市场的风采。参观代表来到上海时正值全球金融动乱。不论英国还是中国都经受着不断增长的通货膨胀，更高的能源价格以及股市低靡的考验。因此，英国作为一个成熟的国际金融中心，应该如何应对现在的局势。有什么经验是上海这个开始崛起的中国金融中心可以从伦敦金融城中借鉴的呢？

The Lord Mayor of the City of London recently led a delegation of more than 40 senior representatives of UK-based financial and professional services firms to Shanghai. The top priority of the trip was to introduce the UK as an inward investment location, underline the UK’s expertise in mergers and acquisitions, and showcase London as one of the world’s largest and most international capital markets. The visiting delegation came to China amid global financial turmoil.  Both the UK and China have been experiencing rising inflation, higher energy prices and poor stock market performance. So how is the UK—as a mature global financial center—coping with the current situation? And what can Shanghai, the fledgling financial center of China, learn from the experience of the City of London?
