       今年的拍卖共为纳帕山谷当地的慈善事业筹集了超过一千万美元。

Bidders raise their paddles high for the Fund a Need, which raised more than $1.7 million for medical care for uninsured and under-insured children in Napa County.

In the this episode of A Tale of Three Cities, we visit the beautiful Napa Valley in California. The annual wine auction drew guests from across the country and around the globe for the four-day event. Comedian Jay Leno led the bidding, and Oprah Winfrey was one who bid, helping to raise over $10million for local charities.
We will share with you this granddaddy of American charity events next week in California.

Oprah Winfrey made an appearance in the Barrel Auction, here visiting John Shafer of Shafer Vineyards.

The Barrel Auction is a beehive of activity before closing at the end of the Taste Napa Valley event.

Wine options in the Marketplace spanned the gamut from sparkling to still, light white to full-bodied red.
