The winner of a “2007 Teen Choice Award”, Hannah Montana, a Disney Channel original series starring singer and actress Miley Cyrus, will be airing on International Channel Shanghai (ICS) during the summer of 2008! The show features a teenage girl who lives a normal life by day but is a famous pop-star by night. She struggles to keep her pop-star identity as Hannah Montana a secret, which leads to numerous comedic occurrences. The twenty-six episodes of season one will be aired in English with Chinese subtitles, and will include brief commentary explaining American language, humor and culture. The show also includes music performed by Miley Cyrus and her father Billy Cyrus, a famous country folk singer. Hannah Montana, Monday to Friday, 6 pm, ICS.
