《华人电影志》探讨华人电影史、电影人与经典影片

     正如栏目名称所示，我们是专为探讨华人电影历史、知名电影人、经典影片而设立的。相比电视上传统的电影评论节目，《华人电影志》更着重于从国际化的视角，去探讨华人电影的文化艺术、社会背景和其幕后的故事，纵横评析当今中国著名电影导演在各类时期的作品，展现编剧、导演、摄像、演员等中华电影人的实力和不足。

     我们将会对一百多年的中国电影进行题材归类、细节放大、中外对比，对华人影片、影人做出新的导读和鉴赏。而来自各方面的声音，包括专家学者、影迷、国外影评人、国外影迷等等将更多层面、更深层次地反映主题。所以，《华人电影志》是一档将爱电影、懂电影、看电影的人作为主要的受众群体，同时让普通观众也爱看并且看得懂的节目。

 

Reel Talk

Every Tuesday, from 8 to 9 pm. International Channel Shanghai 
      

       As the program’s title suggests, Reel Talk passionately and provocatively discusses Chinese cinema. It does so by surveying the filmmakers and films throughout history that have captured our imagination. But Reel Talk does more than analyze films. It approaches Chinese cinema from a uniquely international perspective, dissecting a variety of cultural. social, and aesthetic viewpoints. We tell the stories, both on and offscreen, of some of China’s most outstanding contemporary directors. And uncover the intrigue behind the film industry, bringing to light the complex relationships between screenwriters, directors, cinematographers.

       By organizing the last hundred years of Chinese cinema according to their themes, we’re able to enlarge and elaborate upon them. For compare and contrast purposes, well-known overseas films are also included in the discussion. This has the cumulative effect of directly engaging our audiences with the films and filmmakers. As an additional wrinkle, we offer a chorus of voices to chime in with their own “expert” thoughts and opinions. These include actual experts, such as scholars and critics, as well as casual and avid movie fans from all over the world. To sum up, Reel Talk is not only for the movie buffs, but also those looking to revolutionize their movie viewing experience. No capsule reviews here, just reel thoughts from real, live moviegoers.
