Qin Yi

   Master of Management of Information Science, University of Arizona, USA.  Qin Yi originally worked as a news journalist for the International Centre at Dragon TV and as host on the English language finance and economics program BizWatch.  She also presented the international section of the Chinese news program Dragon News and has hosted many kinds of large-scale, live, bilingual news programs.  Qin yi frequently reported and investigated news stories as an on the scene journalist, filing reports on issues such as the American Medicare system.  She has covered many key events including the American presidential election, the London explosions, the blastoff of STS Discovery, President Hu Jintao's visit to America, the five-year anniversary of 911 and the trial of Saddam Hussein.  She stresses the importance of factual, on the scene reporting, aiming to be the first to bring acurate news to viewers.
   From 1st January 2008, Qin Yi will host the evening English news News at Ten on ICS and the host the talk show The Main Talk interviewing leading politicians and economists.  For Qin Yi, the New Year is full of challenges and opportunities, which she aims to work hard at.
