Wang Dong

Master of Economics, New York City University and Master of Journalism, Columbia University Journalism School (USA). Wang Dong first worked as a host, journalist and Senior Narrator in sports at the General Administration of the Press of the United States, Hong Kong TV, ESPN and CBS.  He later worked at the Ministry of Journalism of the United Nations for five years.  During his time there his roles included News Officer for in the General Secretary’s office and Producer of Television and Broadcasting.  In 2004 he returned to China as host and Senior Reader for CCTV9.  Reporting on major events such as the Middle East conflict, 911 and the Athens Olympic Games in 2004.  He is now the English news host and Chief Planner for the English language programmes Power Sports and Road to Beijing , on International Channel Shanghai and Great Sports.
