37 motorboats and 231 sailing boats are among the first batch of items from the Expo openeing ceremony to be displayed at the Beizhan dock in Tangqiao Xin Road. These motor boats, locally made with imported engines, led a fleet along the Huangpu River on April 30th... an impressive sight at the hotly anticipated openeing. Each of the sailing boats carried the national flag of a participating country or a flag of a world organization at the Expo.

Mr. Fan told ICS that the Expo bureau decided to send these items to auction before the six-month-long event wraps up, while the boats are still in good condition, and people are more interested in owning one. Also on display are decorative LED lightballs and some of the 1,800 costumes and smaller props used in the opening ceremony.
